Ezekiel 16:50 - "And they were haughty and committed abomination before Me; therefore I took them away as I saw fit."
Basically, literally every single citizen of Sodom was evil in many ways (God guaranteed Abraham that if there were even 10 righteous people there, he wouldn't destroy the city), and there's a very candidly written account in Genesis of crowds of men ("all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old") surrounding a pair of visitors and demanding they come out so they could be raped.
Yes, they did other evils, such as the arrogance and selfishness mentioned in Ezekiel, but there's a reason sodomy is named after that particular city, and it's not because they didn't help the poor.
