No it isn't. It actually doesn't even touch on what NDT says. It's talking in circles.

Edit: By Odin's beard, I have become that which I loathe.

It's not talking in circles.
Even atheist ethics & morality are based on religious principles.
Without those principles atheists cannot have an answer for - What is 'good' and what is it based on?

And that isn't what NDT was talking about at all. Religion can absolutely be the basis for how people form concepts of what is good and evil, but what he was saying is how is an all powerful, all good deity a possibility if said deity allows for natural disaster that wipe out 10s of thousands of lives. It has nothing to do with what the giant hat wearing guys was saying. He was making a counter argument to a statement that wasn't made, or someone threw two unrelated videos together as an attempted gotcha

He repeated the same old clichè 'If God is all good and all powerful why does he allow horrible atrocities to occur?'

OK, according to atheism, what is the definition of 'good' and what is it based on?
Religion can absolutely be the basis for how people form concepts of what is good and evil,
It's THE basis of concepts of good and evil.
all good deity a possibility if said deity allows for natural disaster that wipe out 10s of thousands of lives.
And according to atheist philosophy, why is that not good, but bad?
It has nothing to do with what the giant hat wearing guys was saying. He was making a counter argument to a statement that wasn't made, or someone threw two unrelated videos together as an attempted gotcha
Irrelevant to the discussion at hand.
