Because establishment politicians, from both sides, seek to divide regular people so they're too distracted to recognize the politicians' corrupt dealings.

I don't think for one second most of those Democrats, especially the older ones, really think these mentally retarded men should be treated as women. It's just another hot topic they have us fighting over.

99% of people 1-2 decades ago laughed at the idea of trannies when movies like Juwanna Man and Mrs. Doubtfire were enjoyed by the masses. Now suddenly they do a 180?

The huge national argument over gay marriage and abortion was petering out so they needed a new thing to get people riled up over. They worked together to blow up a topic that was regulated to a small corner of the internet to a national debate.
