Here's the story behind the meme:

First chapter highlights a lynching.

School is questioning if it's appropriate for seventh graders.

Not sure if that means they will change the lesson for the book, remove the book from the curriculum, or teach the book to and older grade level.

As has been the trend in updating literature, they will remove the lynching and add a child friendly drag queen show.
