Just plain sad of them. Their obsession with representing every conceivable race and sexual kink doesn't extent to them it seems

kink aside (which is fucked up), I think it’s pretty cool that black people are getting more representation. I was annoyed for a long time about it but then started talking to my black friends here in Detroit (over 40 crowd). They didn’t really have any representation on the big or small screens when we were growing up.

“Do you know how incredibly happy it makes my 8 and 10 year old daughters to see someone up on that screen that looks like them? I never had that.”

it doesn’t hurt me and it makes little kids really happy, so I think that’s pretty cool.

I have no problem with black characters but changing the race of existing characters (usually of the redheads for some reason) is just plain tokenism. I mean god forbid people actually put in the work to make an interesting original ip once in a while
