Ever since this thing kicked off, way too many people on the right have been parroting horseshit from their alt-tech agents and sources thinking it's somehow based. It isn't, it's nothing less than 100% Bitch-Made and they need go sit in a fucking corner -- not surprised I wasn't dissapointed by the reaction of actual American patriots such as @ElKarlo, @S Class, @Yehudim and @KnightTemplar (honorary) though. Laura crushed practically every point here.

It's just way too reminiscent of the shit leftists pulled for four fucking years when DJT was attempting to go after China (albeit with half measures and mixed results). I guess she doesn't realize that Africans are working for $2 a day because they don't have the energy or technology to increase their productivity to $100 or $200 or whatever other number a day they might want to earn. The kids that are mining cobalt for electronics are just using shovels, digging holes and going underground getting the mineral with their hands and a basket. The issue is nobody is willing to invest any money into proper mining technology because they aren't even sure they can get their money back due to political instability, which in Africa usually leads to military conflicts and destruction of private property. Not only are they lacking the technology, they are also usually lacking the energy necessary to power the mining equipment. The same can't be said for Australia where both energy is available, mining equipment and infrastructure is built and investors feel they can get their money back.
She knows so little about causes and effects, at least when it pertains to this, that she shouldn't be talking.

He puts a calm and sensible spin on aggressively nationalist ideas and policies that could be quickly converted into outright fascism, which runs contrary to free market and open society ideals. Those can be great, but in turn so is the liability and the CCP has been exploiting that like nobody's business for decades now. The dynamic is entirely different to the Soviet Union because the Cold War was fought between two economically decoupled factions.
It's also humorous to see DeSantis mention MFN status and WTO ascension as historically significant because those are among the exact things that Pelosi opposed granting the CCP. She was radically anti-establishment and against the grain on dealing with China. This is something I simply will not allow people to lie about in my presence.
