Norm was a genius. In a literal sense. He skipped years of school and was in college at 16 years old. He was a math wiz. He could have been in any profession. He was always the smartest man in the room. He was incredibly well read. He didn't want you to know this. It's part of the joke.
RIP to GOAT
All these great quotes. I wonder where he got his ideas from.

I have no idea who thought it would be wise to start shit in Dickinson, North Dakota. My first year out here I was working for a gravel company; at least once a week I would have to jump in somebody’s pickup to go somewhere and every single time I’d have to wait til they cleared the rifles and handguns off the seat before I could get in…

the elites won an astounding victory after Occupy Wallstreet. it really scared them, perhaps one of the first things that did in many years. it was a grassroots movement with a bulletproof, unimpeachable message. so they got serious and introduced identity politics in the so-called progressive discussion. that's why you have now monster companies like Amazon pandering to all sorts of identity politics bullshit as long as there's no talk of real economic change. The left and right never wholeheartedly agreed with one another, but 10 years ago we all held a united front against the same enemy — corporate greed.
This is when everything changed.
