Fans of the movies won't watch it because of the woke nonsense. Woke people who fought for this won't watch it because they're too busy searching Twitter for something to be offended by or out in the road somewhere, chanting some random phrase.

So the series will fail, but as we've seen with other woke projects, the directors/writers/etc. will still get promoted and given new properties to wreck.

While I do love a good knock at women's sport, especially how hard organizations like the CBC push it, Canada Junior A is pretty fucking top tier hockey. We have 15 year olds who are NHL ready these days. 99% of junior A players would push my shit in on the ice.
