Aye, Thx. Yeah, I'm pretty meh on stressing over canon and continuity like some of the more diehards. Michael Myers is arguably the most enduring horror character of all-time so the franchise is inevitably going to have a fuckton of reboots, retcons and remakes.

I didn't think Halloween (2018) was perfect by any means and something seemed kind of 'off' but it had a lot of the right ingredients and was obviously handled with care. People are free to pick and choose whatever they want the former to be, whether it's the OG Loomis sequels, the first Jamie Lee retcon or the Rob Zombie remakes; you can pretend they're parallel universes or something, who cares.

It seems promising.
