You get to meet and greet him at the entry point of the Holy Land: The North Rim of the Grand Canyon.







Unfortunately, a couple of Sherbros who had sights on a trip to that ultra remote pocket of paradise in the fall (@Rob Battisti, @Long Dark Blues) won't be able to now thanks to none other than devastating wildfires causing a shutdown for the season.







That lodge was one of the oldest and most historic in the entire national park system. Teddy's Roughrider Saloon around the corner from it is gone now, too. Smokey is still standing, and his visitor center is safe. The OG Ad Council PSAs didn't fuck around, lol.
