The "anti-semitism" accusations towards John are hilarious. The New Testament has a Gentile author responsible for writing almost 30% of it, but it isn't John (Luke-Acts). And it should be obvious why he was pissed off: It's not merely on account of Jesus being treated as a miscreant, fraud, and criminal to be crucified but because he was forever severed and cut off from his ethnic identity. John wrote his gospel during a very nasty divorce. If people want genuine anti-semitism, they should read the shit that church fathers like Ambrose, Chrysostom, and Gregory (of Nyssa) were saying in the fourth century.
