From what I've heard Holm was a pitter-patter counter striker as a boxer too. And I don't think any of her opponents were that good, because Holm's hands are pretty average. She keeps spamming the same combinations which Cyborg easily took advantage of.

She was a volume striker, not a counter striker. The only person she really had success as a counter-striker was Rousey, who was kind enough to run into Holly's left straight until she was put out of her misery with the LHK.
