Health Medical anxiety

I was stuck in that place from 02:00 to 08:30. I was exhausted, as I had worked a late shift prior and had only half an hours sleep.

I had my blood pressure, temperature, blood, then more blood for bloodclot test and a chest X-ray, which all came back negative.

She put it down to GERD and prescribed medication for me to pick up, which I will on Monday.

Honestly, it doesn't feel like GERD. I've had Acid Reflux before, especially when doing heavier weights and push ups in the past, and it was a lot more painful and would go up my throat. What I have is a lot milder, like a strain, with some twitches and mild breathlessness. Symptoms seem to be improving away from work though.

However I'll accept the diagnosis for now, keep taking the medication, try to lose weight and avoid heavy chest exercises and see what happens.

I went back in the gym today.

Mile run, mile cycle, mile rower.

I did two rounds on the punch bag, one for each side, which I found to be difficult. I was going to do a third but my chest started itching.

I then did six chin ups. I was going to do ten dips straight after but bailed on one due to pressure on my chest and more itching, so.I did two more sets of six chin ups instead, then stretched down.

I'm trying not to think about it. I have a lot of symptoms of heart failure, but I came back negative from pretty much everything yesterday. I have to trust their diagnosis.
