Mcnuthugger Journo on Conor loss

The sentences TS may have been referring to.

"A question for those fighters who took joy in Conor McGregor's loss to Nate Diaz on Saturday night at UFC 196: Have you ever attempted what the UFC featherweight champion tried to pull off?

How many of those who took shots at McGregor after being submitted by Diaz at the MGM Grand ever went up two weight classes on short notice to save a show when a main event fighter pulled out? I don't see too many hands raised right now.

For all the talk about superfights that have come and gone over the years, how many champions actually took the plunge and attempted to claim a second crown? McGregor was ready to try it when Rafael dos Anjos had to pull out Saturday night's original main event. Dozens have held UFC gold since B.J. Penn was the last to go up in weight class as a reigning champ and challenge for another title, but McGregor was the only one ready to put his money where his mouth was.

And, oh yeah, this event is called UFC 196 and not UFC 197 because both ends of the heavyweight title fight for the original UFC 196 on Feb. 6, Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez, pulled out within 24 hours of each other, causing the original UFC 196 to be rebranded as a UFC Fight Night."

Hey, he's got a point. People were begging GSP to move up to fight Anderson for years and years. Aldo was smashing people for years and never even talked about moving up. The only champ I see moving up is Jon Jones once he beats Cormier then Johnson.

Liked your article on Dream Theater. My Dad has collected their rarities for years.
Thanks, I really appreciate that. I've been a DT fan since about 1999, and this album was a lot of fun for me. I hope you enjoyed it too. I really should edit that article and post the whole album, DT released it on a stream.

GSP and Aldo was busy defending their titles.
How many timed did Conor defend his belt?

They're everywhere Bro. You can't get away from em.

"Defending their titles". GSP cleaned out the division and fought two more years, had one hard fight and retires. Conor should have defended his belt but I think if you dominate the division for years to the point where the top 5 are people you demolished already then maybe it's time to move up in weight to seek new challenges.

I've seen them quite a few times. You would of loved the first tour with Labrie in the early 90's. At that time, his voice was nonpareil.

Dream Theater discussion > some shifty journalist gargling on Conors balls.

And again, fighting a LW on short notice at a weight that just prevents either of you from having to cut is not moving up two weight classes.

It's like saying you can eat twenty slices of pizza but it's a ten inch cut into twenty pieces.
