People are going to make all sorts of tired excuses for Conor and Bisping, even though IT IS THE SAME THING they are doing. They are passing over contenders to try getting money fights. PERIOD!

With the Bisping situation, its more about Hendo than Bisping. Id say Hendo paid his due to pick out his last fight.

conor IS the money fight, he created that himself. he went 7-0 in his divison including back to back KOs of the consensus #1 and #2 (one of which has been outed as a hgh cheat), he then challenged the champion in a higher weight class. earned? yes. respectable? yes.
duckley got utterly DOMINATED and humiliated by rory macdonald, handed a controversial split decision over kelvin gastelum, sat on the sidelindes for almost 2 years and then beat a shot robbie who arguably lost 2 of his last 3 fights. before winning the belt he said wonderboy needed to beat macdonald to be considered the #1 contender. wonderboy did. now duckley claims wonderboy needs to fight lawler, while he himself is campaigning to fight retired has-beens, one of which has literally not won a fight in 5 years. earned? absolutely not. respectable? kill me

I don't care who they fight next, if they're really the best they'll keep their belt long enough to defend against all the top contenders and if they don't then they were never the rightful champ in the first place so whatever, just let them bang

Anyone can choose whoever they want. It is the UFC that makes the bout agreements. And it is the fans that generate interest. I wouldn't hate the fighters for it.
Until we get the Ali act any fight can be made anytime. But we miss out on some fan favourite fights by default.

Fast finishes are what every person, even GSP, have always aimed for.
McGregor, Woodley, and Bisping all have something in common: They all beat the champion by KO or TKO.
Fast finishes are the best scores you can achieve whether by submission or KO.
These gentlemen have DEFINITELY paid their dues by doing what every fan and contender want to see; the best possible ways to finish someone.

so they should be able to fight whatever fight gives them them the most amount of $$$ while being champ.
once they lose the belt, it's back to making low to medium UFC fighter wages.

Conor should ONLY have had the option to fight the winner of Aldo vs Edgar after that novelty one off fight with Diaz. Woodley should only have one option and that's to go get his brain shut off promptly by Wonderboy.
