Over Under on if they will have the mics fucked up again, so Conor doesn't have to answer to Nate? +150
This should be completely obvious but i'll say it anyway.... they had to drum up interest and promote a new fight from scratch at 10 days notice last time when RDA pulled out.
...Because they only had 10 days to sell the fight, they did the announcement presser first when Nate stepped in for RDA and then the pre-fight presser came on the Wednesday of fight week as always. Announcement presser for 202 was done on UFC 200's fight week and the promo for the card is spaced out like it is for all the other events, 196 crammed everything into 10 days so it seemed like a lot but it was the same just in a much shorter amount of time.
They didn't go that hard for Mendes. Oh that's right, they were worried a wrestler might end derail the train. But since Nate wasn't a wrestler, they thought he'd play into Conor's strengths. So to try to humiliate him before the fight they send him on bullshit money shows with Conor knowing damn well Nate isn't the wittiest guy. But now that Nate holds the upper hand, they wanna limit media. Whatever, man. For you too @Soul On Ice
