McGregor spends $44k on Rolex watch for GF

In 20 years will Conor be completely broke. Very few, just like in all sports, of these athletes have careers when they stop competing. The NBA has something like 60% filing for Bankruptcy, I think I saw a stat that said the NFL is closer to 70%. Its great to buy a car for $400k when you are making $5million a year, but once the money stops coming in insuring that car, paying for that house etc etc is just not feasible.

lol @ salty comments.

Get a life, guys! He's enjoying the fruits of his labor and living like a f**kin' rockstar! good for him!

Conor has prob made around 20 mill this year. We've seen him drop maybe 3 mill tops on cars, bought a 2 mill dollar house, and prob a mill in clothing/jewelry. Not that big a deal, and you have no idea if he is investing or not. Im sure he is.

Quoting before taxes numbers is funny. After taxes he probably brought home 10 million then bought houses cars... all of a sudden that 10 million is 2-3 million after paying for those depreciating assets.

This is why they make movies on hall of fame athletes who have it all and blow it in years. I could care less what he spends money on. And spending this type of money probably helps his image but one small slip up in the ring and all of a sudden you're the next flash in the pan broke on the street. I wish him well but anyone who says he's "fine" is a dummy with money and long term finances.

As strange as it sounds, flaunting the money you make and selling a image of luxury can earn you even more money in the right arena, done by the right person. That said, the key is to get to a point where other people pay for most of the facade. An example being, advertising the store he bought the watch from and getting perks for it.

I think that watch looks great. Too bad it wasn't an engagement ring though..

you know that if shit happens in the marriage mcgregor would lose his house and half the shit he owns? marriage isn't worth it for a man and conor is a smart business man who understands it

His net worth is 2 million and he's buying cars and expensive watches like it's going out of style. At this rate he's gonna be broke before breakfast time. If I were worth 2 mil, I would be looking into investments. He's still got a lot of fights left in him but if boxers who make 20 million a fight can go broke for being stupid certainly an MMA fighter can.
2 milion? outdated af

While my nig Matt mitrione makes 10 and 10? Screw this guy

Enough pro athletes have gone broke that I'm surprised some people are so adamant that he won't. It absolutely does happen. Hopefully he'll have his fun for a while and eventually stop pissing it away.

rare to see girls wear watches, that does not look like a woman's watch. but wtf do i know, my watch cost 50 bucks.

Material objects don't impress me.
Does this?

Why grown men/women care about how/what someone else does with their money is beyond me. Particularly when it has nothing to do with their own personal finances.

People are weird.

I feel the same way about people caring about what goes on in other people's bedroom (homosexuality)
