Ouch.
2015 was the year of the Connor, but 2016 will look like the year of the downfall. After he loses to RDA and then to Frankie, he will wish he hadn't bought that.
 
I grew up in Toronto in the eighties. I would travel with my family to Brooklyn and Queens and the kids there would so materialistic. They would wear gold "name place" jewellery. Designer clothes and shoes. (Drug Culture?)The mentality slowly worked its way to Canada and now young kids ask their parents for $700 dollar "True Religion" jeans and "Air Jordan's". It wasn't like this in Toronto. A majority of people are like this now.

I seriously doubt it. Some of you are getting delusional with your hero worship. Rolex will take Conor's money, just like they will Floyd's. They are capitalists, after all. They certainly would not sponsor either in any way. Rolex wants the Sharapovas and Federers of sport. People that at least LOOK the part. Something about the way Conor carries himself would be a complete turn off to an UPPER UPSCALE brand like Rolex. Keep telling yourself what you need to, to keep that hero worship at the highest levels though. More power to you.
 
The way he manages his carreer, and able to get so much money out of a so small amount of fights (he doesn't have a crazy record like Fedor or another veteran) is crazy.
The dude is earning as much cash as he can before he enventually loses, and I have to agree that he is fun to watch, his inverviews etc. , it's interesting to listen, so as long as it works for him, I'm happy.
If he wants to spend so much money, he can do it. I am fine with any MMA fighter winning tons of cash, their sport is brutal. Soccer players earn more and they don't do shit. Let's have one of our MMA guy get some cash too.

Yes I think you're right.

I mistook the face for the bezel. Funny thing is that once you ice out most reputable watch brand, you end up breaking the brand-customer relationship.

Tbf, I'm giving athletes the benefit of the doubt when the truth is most athletes come from next to little money and can't help but become frivolous; as for how long they squander their hard earned cash is another story.
 
The guy has MAYBE 10 years left in his career. He's spending money far quicker than he can make it.

Okay kids, let get this straight since some of you are actually children. Some of us aren't kids. We're grown. We've seen what can happen, and we don't want that to to happen to anyone, especially if that person is an entertainer that we like.
