I was shocked to see the difference.

Conor only had a 4 year head start over Omalley. However the social stats are stagerring, McGregor has almost 10x as many followers. Omalley, in 4 years time, will not have anywhere close to 50 million

The Mcgregor that fought Eddie Alvarez was one of the greatest strikers we have ever seen in MMA.
Eddie showed after that he was not a scrub and he has held LW title in every org.

The unfortunate thing is that he was allowed to do the Mayweather fight, won millions and never had a reason to be that good ever again.

Plus he didn't carry his power up to 155, so when people realized he only had a round and a half before he gassed, Conor became a much easier fight.

He never really was one shotting people. Outside of Aldo, he was TKOing people.
The guy was his best in 2015-2016. We didn't see him back in MMA until Oct 2018.
