*** 'McGregor Forever' - Netflix Documentary Discussion Mega Thread ***

Judging by the title and the tag line I’m going to just make an educated guess that this is just some fluff piece
Doesn't even have to be an educated guess, you can nail it down with just a dumb guess.

For all those throwing ‘fan boy’ around: I’m simply a fan of the UFC and of course McGregor comes under that umbrella.

I’d likely watch any fighter’s doc. It’s an interesting watch so far; you don’t have to comment ‘fanboy’ just to prove how anti-McGregor/establishment you are - we get it, you’re super cool and edgy, relax.

I don't really have any interest especially if it was something his team helped produce. It's just a PR/marketing tool for his next PPV.

I'm disappointed in Netflix.
It's just ok, but it's definitely keeping a lot under wraps when it comes to the controversies.
I'll give them credit that for the most part they don't seem to be completely discrediting opponents such as Poirier or Khabib, but so far I'm only on episode three.

Biggest gripes are that a lot this footage has already been published by the UFC and the the timelines for certain events.
Look on the bright side
At least there will be footage of Mcgregor getting his ass kicked
Skip to 39:02 of episode three, it'll show really cool and badass angle of Dustin putting Conor's lights out at their UFC 257 fight.
It really demonstrates how dangerous Dustin is when he senses blood and goes for the kill.

I know, I'm just playing per usual. Thanks for the heads up even though I probably won't watch it. Lol

I’m not anti-mcgregor. He seems like a swell guy. Is this just about fighting in the ufc or his battles in the courts as well as with the law itself? Did you post about the Murray show?

Netflix made this bullshit a series? You could tell me it has footage of Conor getting banged by the pope and I still wouldn't watch this.

Again, it's just ok so far and it does offer some interesting perspectives on certain things of his life and fighting career.
I mainly gave them props for not shitting on Khabib and Dustin mainly because Conor usually doesn't have much nice to say about them along with him probably having a decent amount of leverage in terms of how they portray certain events.

If I finish it I'll let you know if it's worth the full watch, but I'm guessing a lot of the footage that hasn't been seen before is gonna be uploaded to youtube or twitter pretty soon anyways.

Just released today, its a 4 part documentary. Should be an interesting watch lol.

That quote at the top isn’t quite correct but it’s close.

Plenty of reasonable men achieve quite a lot. But if you’re a failed plumber’s apprentice who lacks any marketable skills, becoming an unreasonable goofball probably is the lone path available.

Just finished watching episode one of McGregor Forever on Netflix and I was impressed.

There’s a lot here we haven’t seen before and the production is great.

It shows you the moment McGregor dislocated his toe three weeks out of the Khabib fight. I always thought his ‘my foot was a ballon’ excuse was exactly that, but fair play to him for still going ahead with the fight.
Anyone else watched it yet? Any thoughts?
Right, ok, yeah. But do they show proof that the longer, taller man was TREE TOYMZ HIS SOIZE?

That's what inquiring minds wanna know.
