Law Mayor Adams indicted?

No shit, that is why he said we only say "Good" at this point.
Yeah, someone already used this line but thanks for repeating it.

We know nothing about this case so far. I'm not sure whats "Good" about someone being indicted when we have no idea of the extent of charges, whether its politically motivated etc etc etc.

I don't agree with that. He's been associating with shady characters for a while.

Fair enough. And he was facing accusations of shady stuff prior, even having to reduce salary of his brother or someone close to him he clearly gave a position they were not qualified for.

That being said, I feel most mayors of large cities have some degree of corruption associated with them. It’s just when/if they decide to go after them, which they did right as he complained about migrants

Could be a coincidence

Funny enough this was reported by the washington post

Man, is there any thread where you won't try to make it about Trump right off the bat? You've got a real issue.

Ok. Now I'm a dick because I said you didn't answer my question.

"It was implied." No, it wasn't. You said "universally condemned". I said "got quiet". Am I wrong?

Wow. Aren't you the one whining about personal insults?
Every. Single. Time.

Fake disinformation psyop campaign against a successful Foundational Black American man successfully running the biggest city in the country, not surprising
Who cares what color he is?

Once again, Jack is 100% right. Everybody else is a dummy. Jack doesn't like personal insults unless he's the one hurling them.

Where did I deny reality? Please share your wisdom with the world.

"As I said, it was universally condemned by liberals and leftists": I said I didn't see that. Please point me where it happened.
Yikes. You can look it up if you're genuinely curious, but I think it's clear that you aren't.

Oh I’m old enough to remember Giuliani as mayor. Fuck him.

There were 34 lawsuits against Giuliani’s administration alleging violations of 1st Amendment rights. Giuliani lost 26 of them.

His undercover “street crime unit” shot (innocent and unarmed) Amadou Diallo 41 times for no justifiable reason.

He withheld info from the Board of Ed on violence in schools decreasing, and then put police in charge of school discipline FFS. They arrested and beat up kids for silly shit like being in the hallways during class.

Stop and Frisk.

After 9/11, Giuliani was not eligible to serve any more terms as mayor, but wanted the city to cancel or postpone elections and just leave him in power. Sounds so familiar.

What is up with Turkey lately. They get Leon Musk to censor opposing views on X and now sending money to NYC mayor. Usually it’s China, Russia, Israel or the House of Saud buying US elected officials or government appointees.
Pro tip for elected officials don’t take any foreign money because it makes you look like a piece of shit who is willing to sell out America.

I didn't know NYC had term limits. Is it common in the US?

Yeah. Governors, Senators, Representatives , President…all have term limits.

I knew about Presidents and Governors, but first time I see this for a mayor.
Yeah, for mayors it’s usually set by the state Constitution. I believe there are some cities that don’t have term limits, but most do.

He's doing a press conference now, he has NAACP leaders there yelling and what not.
