I don't think he's been a good mayor by any stretch but Adams was very pro migrant until the number reached well into 5 digits invading NYC. Then this thing called reality set in and the resources couldn't keep up with the influx.

What was he supposed to do, say "this is fucking awesome keep em coming, in fact these are rookie numbers lets up the influx 10x"?

While I'm sure Adams has some dirty people in his office, I find it hilarious that out of all of the graft and mis-management of the elderly early in Covid under De Blassio, Adams is the first NYC mayor ever indicted.
If any of you 'left of the aisle' folks think he is somehow more corrupt than the previous 10 mayors (except for maybe Bloomberg), you might be interested in a bridge that is for sale that connects lower Manhattan to Brooklyn.
