I think if Rose wouldn't have landed that early and got the stoppage, Weili would win, just the strength, volume and stamina would get her the win.

As far as a head kick finish? Possible. It's a fight, anything can happen.

Rarely, but yes. It's been likely more often than its been impossible, thats for sure.

The man in my AV had 3 in a row. Any time Cro Cop fought we knew that was a very strong possibility, etc. Was it ever over 50% likely? Depends on who you talk to.

Is a head kick KO ever an impossible outcome? Not unless you know of any pro fighters in wheelchairs.

If you don't wanna say "likely", then use another phrase, because "can she" is an obvious yes. Everyone saying no is either retarded or giving you mercy for a terribly phrased question.

While her kicks have power and a fair amount of speed; Weili really loads up (a.k.a telegraphs her non-low kicks). I thik it's unlikely she catches Rose with one of those since Rose is pretty light on her feet. Zhang has other paths to victory and even finishing Rose though. Still, to rush back in after getting finished so easily, not taking the time to improve/tune up/etc., sounds like a recipe for disaster. If her gameplan for the rematch is just avoid the high kick, she will lose some other way.

I guess it’s possible but, I don’t see it going that way. But, then again I didn’t see the first fight playing out that way either. I still see Weili just walking Rose down and grinding her out for a late finish or 48-47 type decision.
 
Its entirely possible...

...but now very improbable.

In her 23 fight career that was her only win by headkick KO, the rest are either TKOs or decisions.

Rose is very light on her feet with excellent head movement, not to mention the height difference. She's basically as close to being the female Dominic Cruz in the fact they're VERY hard to get a bead on their head.

Its about the dumbest move a fighter can make to say "I'm going to KO you using this move" in the middle of a training camp so the opponent can prepare for it, even if its a bluff.


Edit - Voted 'Yes' on the poll because it asks 'Can' she, although there's a probable sub-1% chance of it happening it still is a possibility. Crazier shit has happened in this crazy shit sport.
