Max is going to get destroyed and UFC will look like fools

1. Allowing their fighters to hurt themselves a week before the fight, during some filming
2. Putting young and tallented 145er to fight a huge 155er, expecting to somehow catch Khabib offguard and lose, like Conor lost to Nate, but Khabib is not Conor.
3. Not protectiing their fighters, letting Max to get in to Kahbibs face during his weight cut and letting Lobov walkinh alone, then Khabib and his gang is somewhere arround.

Overall UFC enjoy playing with Khabib, but it is very dangerous, and they will burn

Max is game and wanted long ago to move to 155 and face Khabib.
 
It is definitely a dangerously game giving an inactive fighter like Habib the chance to hold a belt hostage.

I think the worst thing the WWE--I mean UFC- could do during this era of total bullshit being passed off as martial arts is have a fighter fuck themselves up trying to cut this much weight this quickly. The last thing these absolute retards need is one of their champs being hospitalized (or worse) cutting weight for a fight that some will argue has no business happening to begin with.
 
Khabib can't even make weight it appears.
 
I doubt any LW would have made weight on such short notice.

UFC had two other options:

-Have Khabib fight a LW from the same card
-Cancel the main event

At least he isn't scared of taking an ass whooping.. For that I respect Max even more.

He's done his thing at fw, and is now is taking a big chance. He has nothing to lose, really. Lil homie saved the card, and for that I will buy it because he could've easily stayed at fw and waited for Ortega instead of going up against a monster like Khabib on a week's notice.
 
A fighter getting destroyed by Khabib is always quite an option.

Holloway will be fine. He will look like the warrior that he is for doing this under the given circumstances.

Sherdoggers always like to overrate the "public judgement" of casuals. They are dumb.

Injuries happen. They always have and they always will.

Altercations will always help the UFC. Especially if there is a connection to Conor.

The guy did talk about Max at the absolute top of his game and I did not notice him mentioning the circumstances once. That Max has a good shot although he has never displayed his TDD or grappling defense against anyone close to Khabib's calibre.

This is Max with zero preparation, with an injury that may require surgery and a horrific weight cut in a short time in front of him.

He will not be close to his peak form.

Then sherdog will say Conor would have eaten Khabib alive, not realizing styles make fights

They offered the fight to Brian Ortega, and he accepted. Considering he just went through a full training camp, left his fight completely unscathed, and has since resumed training, this was a much better option.

Max is coming off an injury serious enough to cancel a title defense, had just recently been cleared to resume training, and was planning on surgery prior to his next fight.

If Max gets hurt this will be a very serious black eye on the sport. I honestly don't think this should have been sanctioned.

I'm curious to see how khabib deals with the footwork and varied attack he brings. Barboza is mainly kicks and knees. Holloway throws everything. I think max is going to be hard to pressure with his footwork. what if khabib can't get him against the cage? interesting fight. favor khabib but max is very talented

The mild irony here is that Conor was extremely active before the Mayweather spectacle.
