If Ilia plans to vacate to chase Islam (which I don't think the UFC would let happen), then I think Arman-Dan, Max-Paddy is a mini tournament to crown the new champ

Who would you rather see them both fight? I personally think Paddy's hardly been thrown to the wolves, would be good to see him face this kinda challenge, plenty others do far earlier in their UFC careers.

Arman should be the challenger, but if we're really doing this "punish Arman for fucking up" campaign, then I'd rather see the champ fight the next most winningest contender, which is Hooker.

As for Arman, him vs Justin makes more sense at the height of the division, and then no other fights need to be changed but I also like Arman vs Paddy as an interesting matchup.

If people's biggest reason for picking Paddy against top LW's is cause of "size" you know there's some serious skill deficiencies in his game.

Max is gonna use Paddy as a punching bag for 5 rounds or until he falls.

He hasn't had a matchup in those 3 years that have allowed for any display of improvement. He's done nothing but fight far down from Gordon.

The Paddy from 3 years ago would have ran through cans like Ferguson, Green, and Chandler in the same way current Paddy did.
