The fallout from Conor McGregor’s rampage last week in Brooklyn, N.Y. is still going strong after “Notorious” went ham on a bus full of fighters competing at UFC 223, injuring a several and canceling three fights altogether.

. . .

While Max Holloway — who has a bitter history with Conor — doesn’t worry about the immature actions of others, he does wonder how long the promotion is going to continue to let McGregor call the shots.

“I think yeah (he crossed the line). How many times can you let the guy get away with things?” Holloway asked during a recent edition of The MMA Hour. “I don’t think he meant to break the bus with the dolly, it looked like he was shocked that he broke it. Because I saw him pick up a metal trash can, put it down, then threw a plastic trash can, instead,” he added.

“It doesn’t affect me personally, so I feel bad for all the other fighters like Chiesa and Borg. Brooklyn missed some fights because of it,” added Holloway.

Micheal Cheisa and Ray Borg — who were set to face Anthony Pettis and Brandon Moreno, respectively -- suffered injuries after the wild attack, and lost out on potential “win” and “fight Night” bonuses. For his part, Chiesa filed a police report against McGregor.

After turning himself into authorities and making bail the next day, McGregor is now scheduled to return to New York in June for a court hearing. If all goes well for the fiery Irishman, don’t be surprised to see the former two-division champion inside the Octagon later this year.

It was a stunt and it will be highly profitable. Too bad people got hurt; I don't believe he meant for that to happen.

Yep, looks like someone who logically and rationally thought about the potential consequences of his actions.

Conor confirmed to be a a well behaving citizen!

Lol even Max can see through the gimmick and set up.

It was cool for the event but i dont even give a shit about this anymore its annoying who gives a fuck now if theyda got off the buss to defend themselves or the regular joes that woulda ben cool

This almost cost the UFC the entire PPV card. Are you insinuating that they orchestrated this to garner attention?

lol at people who believe this

TBH nothing else makes sense. Conor was always around to notorious but never really did much dmg or crossed the line hard. If they lose 1 Mio to Chiesa/Borg and Co. but make 50 more for the fight it's worth it IMO.

Technically he should get canned. 100%. He threatened the lives/health of people.
But the terrible thing is that I want to see him fight again...
Ultimately I dont answer this poll because its up to the UFC.

I do want him to be fully accountable to the law though.

If Conor hadn't broken the glass everyone would've fought. It's very possible he just got caught up in the moment

His reasoning doesn't even make sense. It doesn't matter..metal trashcan, plastic trashcan...he picked up a metal dolly and threw it at the window.

Was that a plastic dolly too?
It was a Hollywood stunt dolly. Made of rubber. Same shit they pull on WWE.

Apparently Conor's car also sped away through an alley filled with cardboard boxes and vegetable stalls.

it's possible it started that way but if that's the case Conor lost control. No one would throw a metal dolly against a window that hard and not expect it to break.

So what’s the other end result then? It bounces off the bus and brains the poor security guy? Or Artem? Or himself (wouldn’t that have been amazing)? It was stupid and childish, no matter how you slice it.

That’s not what he said and you’re putting words in his mouth. He said he doesn’t think Conor meant to hurt people, because after the metal dolly caused damage, he bypassed the metal trash can and grabbed plastic instead

This. And hes not defending Conor's actions at all smh

We all make mistakes and learn from them. See Jon Jones for example.
