Hughes might have been an asshole out of cage, but he was a hell of a fighting farmboy in the cage and his scraps hold some of my fondest memories of MMA.

Most people here haven't been here long enough to appreciate what he was doing at the time he was, but Matt Hughes is certainly one of the greatest fighters and champions in the history of MMA. His run at WW is one of the greatest runs this sport has ever seen. He is still the 2nd best WW of all time.

It’s not other people job to educate you. You find porn, you can find his story.
Besides, most of these guys are scumbags anyway. Unlike most sports orgs the UFC has virtually no community component other than the predictable “support the troops” stuff. I rarely here of fighters doing something for the community outside the generic.
