Matt Hamill can hear again.

i don't know what it is, but ariel's interviews always come across as more professional than interviews from other mma media. i think it's because he takes every interview seriously. unlike other mma interviews where they try being too chummy at first. it rubs me the wrong way a bit. maybe that's just me.

I don’t know if this is appropriate, but was I the only one who first saw Hamil fight when it was with Jones?

Jones beat the fuck out of him and cut him with nasty 12-6 elbows and got DQ’ed. But when they had Matt do the post fight interview and he was talking all slurred, I thought to myself “holy shit, Jones concussed him so badly he can’t even speak correctly”

After about a minute I realized he was deaf though

That means his wife will have to stop farting ?

That's actually the kind of 'Legacy Fight' Jon is likely to campaign for.
nah let the loss in his record be permanent
people in the near future would just search the fight he lost and will be amazed at how his only loss was rearranging another mans face

This is an awesome thing to happen to an individual who was otherwise impaired his entire life.

Yeah it’s just you. As a white belt though you’re just knew to the sport so don’t know any better. Ariel is despised by most fighters going back to the days of Rampage Jackson and Nick Diaz. Ariel is a scumbag who leeches off people making a living out of them. He’s a big girls blouse that causes drama between fighters and then interjects himself into the story line attempting to take it over.

I thought deaf people talked like that because they couldn’t hear. I would’ve thought that his speech would’ve got more clear . Awesome for him though

Language learning is at it's strongest when they're young. The sounds he's developed come from the mouth and tongue movements he learned while deaf. I would guess that his language may redevelop a bit now that he can hear better, but that's not gonna be instant.
