I dont get the outrage for Matt Damon starring in this movie. why should they cat an Asian actor to play a European mercenary named Bill Garin?

This is what I don't get, its not like he played an Asian guy. Like you say, him and Oberyn Martel from GoT were Europeans looking to trade/steal black powder. Them and Willam Defoe, another guy looking for black powder, were the only white people in the whole movie.

I had very low expectations for the movie. Saw it over the weekend and actually enjoyed it. A lot of mindless action and some pretty decent fight scenes.

I really do not understand what audience these movies are targeted at especially in the US. It seems like the people likely to watch it are not going to pay and see it anyway. Illegal download and fast forward to action scenes between youtube, porn, or whatever people waste time doing on their phones these days.

That movie looked absolutely horrible in the trailers. Im not surprised

for shore I saw that trailer either at a movie or while watching Vue and I immediately called a buddy and we talked for like a half an hour about how horrible that was. I'd honestly be really worried for society if that movie had done well. Moreso than the whole Trump thing even. Because at least Trump was running against 20+ years of dogshit.
