Matchups to make at 185 Lbs

Khamzat vs Imavov (UFC 325, Sydney)
DDP vs Fluffy (UFC 326, Vegas)
Strickland vs Allen 2 (UFC 324, LA)
Caio vs Izzy (FN Headliner, JAN)
RDR vs Dolidze (Apex Headliner, FEB)
Whittaker vs MVP (UFC 325, Sydney)
Costa vs Cannonier (co-main to Izzy/Caio)
RDR VS Dolidze would be a fun ground battle

This sounds like sensible matchmaking.
There is no place on Sherdog for such content.
Mods please have a drone strike unleashed on the OP.
If it's sensible then also don't expect the UFC to go with those matchups.
They are already probably drafting something like Khamzat VS DDP 2 as we speak.

IF the Iron Turtle beats Ikram, he's due for a legit fight. With a win it would be 7 wins in 8, with the only loss coming to a totally BS split decision loss.

He's also taken fights no one else wants (brownie points), and the only other UFC loss was Fluffy and Robocop

DDP vs Fluffy
Costa vs RDR
Allen vs Cannonier-since neither are getting a title shot ever.
Izzy vs Shara
strickland vs Caio
Imavov vs Khazmat

Khamzat vs Imavov (UFC 325, Sydney)
DDP vs Fluffy (UFC 326, Vegas)
Strickland vs Allen 2 (UFC 324, LA)
Caio vs Izzy (FN Headliner, JAN)
RDR vs Dolidze (Apex Headliner, FEB)
Whittaker vs MVP (UFC 325, Sydney)
Costa vs Cannonier (co-main to Izzy/Caio)
Not sure Caio Izzy makes sense, izzy coming off 3 losses, 2 by finish, 4 losses in his last 5

Caio on a lengthy win streak before Imavov

Unless you are just using Izzy to put Caio over

Seems good. Though it's criminal that they are putting Khamzat on the shelf for so long. It's absolutely horrendous.
Is it "they" or "he"

History not on his side with that one

Khamzat vs Imavov (UFC 325, Sydney)
DDP vs Fluffy (UFC 326, Vegas)
Strickland vs Allen 2 (UFC 324, LA)
Caio vs Izzy (FN Headliner, JAN)
RDR vs Dolidze (Apex Headliner, FEB)
Whittaker vs MVP (UFC 325, Sydney)
Costa vs Cannonier (co-main to Izzy/Caio)
Khamzat vs Imavov in Sydney seems crazy for so many reasons.
1. Volk will be on the card, no way the UFC actually do two high quality fights on an Aus card.
2. Their fanbases would both serve an Abu Dhabi card way better.

Also Whittaker has since come out and said he won't fight in Sydney.

Khamzat vs Imavov (UFC 325, Sydney)
DDP vs Fluffy (UFC 326, Vegas)
Strickland vs Allen 2 (UFC 324, LA)
Caio vs Izzy (FN Headliner, JAN)
RDR vs Dolidze (Apex Headliner, FEB)
Whittaker vs MVP (UFC 325, Sydney)
Costa vs Cannonier (co-main to Izzy/Caio)
I think rematches should be avoided if at all possible because they take months out of fighters' careers for matchups we already saw while denying new matchups

DDP vs Allen, Strickland vs Fluffy solves this problem

Khamzat vs Imavov (UFC 325, Sydney)
DDP vs Fluffy (UFC 326, Vegas)
Strickland vs Allen 2 (UFC 324, LA)
Caio vs Izzy (FN Headliner, JAN)
RDR vs Dolidze (Apex Headliner, FEB)
Whittaker vs MVP (UFC 325, Sydney)
Costa vs Cannonier (co-main to Izzy/Caio)

I'm down for that, Whittaker comes forward and MVP a counter striker, that would be a lot of fun

just literally have the top ten fight each other, matchups that have not happened yet preferrably, and let the shit unfold for once in the last 8 years

Give me an example. Outside of his stint with WuFlu.
I fight a year every year since 2021 (except 2022 where he had two)

So basically fights once a year for 5 years for an organisation that contractually must offer you 3 fights a year.

But it's everyone else's fault

Khamzat vs Imavov (UFC 325, Sydney)
DDP vs Fluffy (UFC 326, Vegas)
Strickland vs Allen 2 (UFC 324, LA)
Caio vs Izzy (FN Headliner, JAN)
RDR vs Dolidze (Apex Headliner, FEB)
Whittaker vs MVP (UFC 325, Sydney)
Costa vs Cannonier (co-main to Izzy/Caio)

I prefer Fluffy Vs Strickland and DDP Vs Allen

Outside of that I'm ok with all the other matchups

Imavov beats Khamzat. Keeps it on the feet and picks him apart with ease
Phil Hawes took him down 4 times and kept him there twice. Khamzat is a different beast. Imavov improved his tdd but Khamzat also improved. Khamzat is currently a -550 favorite for this fight. There's money to made on Imavov if you really believe he'll win.
