The ME1 asteroid dlc was neat.
I let the hostages get blowed up. The smoking bodies after the Balak fight were a nice touch.

Author looks exactly as you’d imagine her

Based on that pic, I probably would.

So, is this worth it? Is the Origin/Steam overlay slowdown issue a factor?

I just realized they put the GOAT squad mates on the box cover:

Garrus, Liara, Tali, Mordin, Miranda, Wrex and Thane. If you asked me to pick 7 of my favorite squad mates it would be those 7 lol

Same, though if I had to pick an eighth it would probably be Legion.

Nice I went the other way with it. It was a good dlc first time playing it.

it’s been great. About 19 hours into ME1 and I’m impressed by how much they improved the graphics. Not even the mods were this good. The HDR is also fantastic. It auto does it for you no messing with w10 settings.

I’ve had two crashes so far 1 last night and again this morning. That’s it. Didnt notice any slowdowns from the overlay but I keep forgetting to disable all origin notifications.

Since this is only my second time through the first game, I forgot about a big part of Virmire.
I remembered Ashley and Kaiden but forgot to bother making sure I could save Wrex. I never put points into dialogue stuff and, as I'm sorta rushing through, I haven't been exhausting crew dialogue and completely missed out on the the whole family armor thing.

Of course having gone through the sequels a few times I'm actually more interested in the DLC characters anyway (more than I am in continuity between the games), so it's not really an issue; but I was a little sad.

Oh wow that would be a game changer for me. I love the character to much. I always pump point into dialogue first in these games above all else.

I always want combat abilities above all else. Regarding the character himself, my attachment depends on the playthrough. I'm going through as a soldier, so I'm pretty much only bringing along Liara and Tali.

One thing I like about ME2 is that there's more reason to bring certain characters along even if their abilities feel a bit redundant because they'll provide squad buffs.

1 down. I feel like a teenager who just finished his chores leading into the weekend. Anticipation like this plus nostalgia is pretty elusive, man.

Just beat 1 as well. Everything went as I wanted except for one small issue on a small quest but I’m not worried about it. Did almost all the missions minus the looking for items nonsense. Got the completionist trophy.

Going to start ME2 but going to go much slower through this one.

YouTubers and Twitch streamers get sycophants to do things like level/unlock weapons; you'd think the first human spectre could get someone to handle scanning planets.

All Bioware games have had this issue. Scanning, mining for minerals, collecting resources. You're the hero of the world and the captain/leader but you're stuck doing menial tasks that the lowest level grunt should be doing.

Anyone else getting a lot of shooting glitches? Like I pop out to shoot a guy and they disappear. I'm still on ME1 on Xbox series S. Still enjoying the hell out of it though. I wish I had more time to play.
