I think 1 is the only game that really needs it; I don't know how much I'm willing to spend on this. I love 2 and like 3 but even 60 for all 3 would feel steep. That said, I've never played any of the dlc so at least there will be some content that I've never seen.

Nice can't wait for this. One of the best gaming stories ever. If they improve the gameplay even more and tighten up the ending this might be one of the GOAT series.

It should also, be noted that they announced they are working on the next Mass Effect title too.

I got no hope for me sequels after andromeda

So if this is just a resolution upgrade I’ll probably pass. I can play my original 360 copies of the trilogy on my One S, and if I ever get a Series X I assume they’ll work on that too. Resolution doesn’t matter that much to me.

Finally the GOAT series remastered. I was jonesing to play the trilogy again. Decided to just play through Andromeda for the first time while waiting for this to be announced. Demo soured me from playing it any further. We’ll see how it goes.

ME:2 is the best overall game in the series. The perfect mix of story and gameplay. The squad missions are great.

these remasters/etc are really out of hand. these aren't even that old.

3 has dlc that goes into the reapers background and is excellent. Should have been main game content honestly but whatever.

I never played any of these but haven’t stopped hearing about them, I will probably pic this up to see what I missed

Sounds like a face lift to me mostly due to targetting PS4 and xbone.

Think they said there would be upgrades for the next gen consoles. Hopefully those are more substantial.

ME1 will need significant work alone, so hopefully they get in the weeds of all 3 games and make changes for the better, namely an FOV slider for 3.

They said they have a veteran team that's going to work on it, but all the best Bioware had are long gone IMO. Oh well, at least they're cleaning up thier gems

I hope they Dragon Age Origins as well. That needs a facelift and then some. I was playing a modded version, which improves so many things, but the memory leak still plagues us all on PC.

What are they going to do though? We NEVER FUCKING GOT the Quarian Ark DLC for Andromeda but all signs point to them not wanting to revisit Andromeda cause of what a shitshow it was. And the whole point they went to Andromeda was to avoid being in the Milky Way after the events of 3.

DAO already had shit graphics when it was released. I remember it was the biggest complaint about the game. Those dungeons in that game were so huge man it would take forever to get through them.

I think Casey Hudson is back so PART of the team is back. I just hope EA stays out of the way of any future ME game and DA game so the games can go back to what they were the best at. Awesome stroies.

Doubt they'll fix the original ending, but at least you'll get the DLC ending included.

I'd be a sweet deal for me though.

I am one of the heathens who never played this series so I am a day one buyer for the remastered version. Heard so many great things about it but the first game was so old I didn't want to play it...

I just finished re-playing the first game and am now near the end of the second game and HOLY FUCK does the first game's combat NOT hold up.

It was from before Gears really took off so the concept of taking cover is you just walking up to cover and supposedly automatically sticking into it. It's one of the more frustrating parts of the game. That and the God awful Mako. If they give the Mako the same physics as the fucking vehicle from Andromeda it should be better then.

I've played 1 so much the mako stuff doesn't bother me anymore. I just stand at a distance place my vehicle in a position to go side to side and shoot the enemies from so far they can't do shit.

I actually don't mind the combat in 1 so much other than biotics are king in that game.
