Masidal's Two punches were despicable

I love everything about those 2 punches ben deserved it and as masvidal said go watch tennis or someshit.

You wanna know what's classless? Going on like you outclassed Robbie Lawler when you know he didn't tap and you know he wasn't out. That was absolutely classless. This is what he gets for it and going on as if he didn't rightfully lose that fight. The universe aligned to give that dork ben askren the most bitter piece of humble pie ever.

I think you fight to the end as you never know. That being said once it was over Jorge saw the condition of Ben and you would like to see a little bit of human compassion and care come in. I don't think I would mock someone if they were in that state no matter what they did beforehand. Then in the interview kept it up instead of even offering a fake my thoughts are with Ben and hope he is okay. Just didn't sit right with me.

That's how I saw it. Extra punches can be explained away by adrenaline but the behavior after is who Masvidal really is, a classless punk. Masvidal should have been happy Askren was selling the fight and helping to make him money.

It was fine, Askren has a great chin as shown in the Lawler fight. You pour it on him till the ref stops it.

Why do people believe fighters are incapable of using their own judgment? What if the ref is completely incompetent? You think the guys should just kill each other?

This fight is a great litmus test to figure out whether someone has a shred of common decency and a working moral compass. Those extra shots are indefensible. TS stated why but it shouldn't even need to be said.

It's like when Hendo hit Bisping after his KO. It had nothing to do with this bullshit "fight til the ref pulls you off" or "YOU NEVER KNOW" and everything to do with the dude just trying to get some extra shots in on a guy he feels a type of way about. Hendo admitted it and so would Masvidal.

Have you ever seen a guy get KO'd and then regain consciousness? If you aren't new to MMA, you have. Keep punching until the ref stops it. I suspect that you are just a salty Mas hater or Askren fanboy.

Show me a single instance in MMA history of someone going into the fencing response following a KO, then regaining consciousness and going on to fight.

But in this case, Masidal landed the knee which was one movement. He had to readjust his position after landing the knee and could clearly see Askren was out stiff as a board. He saw this then consciously went in to punch a totally out stiff Askren.

This is not like a fighter who has started a sequence of punches on an opponent and cant tell if they are out.

And this is not like an opponent who was stunned and still wiggling around, this is an opponent who was totally stiff and out

This was a dangerous action and should not be celebrated

Then regardless of the trash talk, mocking an opponent cleanly out cold is as classless as it comes

Does your post address my point that fighters have regained consciousness after being KO’d? I’m not saying it wasn’t obvious that Ben was out, I’m saying you fight until stopped because there have been cases where fights continued after a KO.

Ben has an incredible chin. Never take the chance in a fight. It's the hurt business.
