Marvel Just Killed Thanos (Comic Book)

they kept him "dead" because he was replaced by his brother, warpath. its easy to keep a character dead when you have already essentially cloned them.
They didn't introduce James for like 10 years after John died he wasn't a real character until he joined X-Force 6 years later.
I never liked Warpath. They should have made his powers much more subtle; like Thunderbirds. John is one of my favorite characters.

He was like Billy from Predator, but with powers.

It may be the liquor but holy fuck I want to see a Scooby Doo version of True Detective.
That does sound epic when you actually think about it.
Woody: Fred/ Matt: Shaggy/ Tits McGee: Daphne/ Woody's Wife: Velma (zoinks, no Scoobs!)

No one stays dead except Uncle Ben;)

Comic Book Thanos is a dick anyway. The movie version is far cooler.

i still maintain if warpath didn't exist a writer would have already brought thunderbird back. but marvel is like, "what will we do with two of them?" where as dc is/would be like, "fuck it, call one of them warbird prime and we'll figure it out over the next 30 years."

looks like that was just a one off and he re-died almost right away. That gets a pass from me, but it is really weak - especially so when you consider this:

God, I loved Marvel Graphic Novels. Revenge of the Living Monolith might be my favorite.

Remember Marvel Fanfare?
they shouldn't have even touched the greatest death in all of comics.

Agreed 100%. Especially for that shit. Nobody even remembers who Mar-Vell is other than the people who respected his death.

I don't read the marvel shit but it's pretty lame to spoiler shit like that.
