I am not sure why they do when he is finally at his peak in popularity. Everyone seems to know his name now and is stepping outside the comic realm and into other medias like Fortnite and things. So why kill him off(for good) now? Seems dumb.

yea it’s the ending to a Thanos arc. He’s back to his roots and trying to marry Death. He ends up fighting another version of himself.

The OP is a new cosmic character called Requiem.
