Marvel / Comic book Guys. How powerful is the Silver Surfer? ( COMICS )

So he has Conor level submission defense ?
I was thinking Chael and it's 4:40 in the 5th....
Mind you I read what I did on a free comics site so I could keep up with it a bit without needing to buy anything.
A few years back I discovered the local libraries have a pretty wonderful collection of graphic novels for free.
Lmao he is the biggest jobber.

My lord, so much disrespect.
The only time he got some props, imho, is when he took out the Crime Syndicate's Ultraman with ease.

I'm pretty sure he's on par with The Flash for getting clowned in situations he should absolutely be able to handle.

A somewhat unrelated story

My friends were rewatching the old Justice League cartoons for shits and giggles, and the Martian Manhunter, with how powerful he is, should have been able to bail them out of every situation, but instead the writers didn't know what to do with him and always wrote up some bullshit excuse.

Jon, help us!
"Er, something, something, this planets atmosphere....can't too weak."

Now "Can't, too weak." Is the ongoing meme for when we don't feel like doing something petty.

So many almighty comic book characters suffer from the "Can't, too weak" syndrome.
Superman was all over the place too. Beaten by mid tier people then casually smacks lobo around. What the fuck

Guy wasn't meant for fighting. He's more like an unwilling Igor to Galactus.

Hahaha...i still have that series of cards and the ones that came before. Those graphs were funny. I remember reading about how they came to those attributes and they admitted to just making shit up, lol. Makes sense as we as kids would endlessly debate who was stronger and disputed the claims of these graphs. Turns out we were onto something.

As strong as the story requires. It’s like Galactus being able to beat a Celestial and literally capable of eating planets, but gets his ass kicked periodically by beings not on that scale of power.

Very. very powerful. He's a cosmic being which is its own power tier in the marvel universe. During the annihilation event, he basically vaporized the surface of a planet fighting another cosmic baddie.

I totally agree. The issue is that they aren't letting the IP die or slow down. They have to keep raising the stakes and it's getting stupid. You can't go back to regular stories. They even tried to reset the universe to fix it but it's back to the same BS. You can't go back to small stories when everyone around you is a multiversal threat.

Oh yea I just remembered that Silver Silver was going toe to toe with Rhino in the 90s. Rhino is a low tier Spiderman villain.

Silver Age superman once blew a star out like a candle. He is way nerfed now days.
