Hunt outweighs Tyson in his prime by probably 45+ pounds so it's not out of the question. Tyson was a hard puncher for sure but prime George Foreman probably hit harder too. Tyson was fast for a HW and landed combos plus most of his opponents were scared to death of him before even getting hit.

In MMA, maybe Igor Vovchanchyn was in Hunt's level.

Everyone thinks Tyson's the hardest puncher because of how ferocious he was and his highlights, but boxing analysts, trainers, etc. know it wasn't purely power and it was also his speed, combinations, etc.

Ie. David Tua (Samoan guy built like Hunt) is often argued to be a harder puncher than Tyson.

Yeah one of the nastiest right hands ever was the one Hearns finished Duran with. Just listen to the sound! Also checkout the 8th round of Wlad v.s Wach. Wach has a chin that rivals Nelsons and he was juiced to the gills for that fight... but listen to the impact of those shots Wlad unloaded on him with and watch the way they jolt back a 260lb man. Pretty wicked.
