Listen I agree she'll go to any measure to protect the shareholders, but you have to admit the timing of it all fell in perfectly with the SJW and #metoo movements, so why not cash in and try to create a new young fan base? She did it. It failed. And she went back to the well of the old fans.
Not sure how much of the content you watch, but look at the "Forces of Destiny" shorts, those clearly weren't made for males. So if not Kennedy, then who insisted on it, because empowered females was made a focus point of new content? We know the fandom certainly didn't ask for it outside of fringe groups. Bo Iger? The Shareholders? George Lucas? Doubt it. So that pretty much leaves KK.
At this point I don't care any more. F&F are righting the ship and KK can throw her name all on it all she wants. The fandom knows who really saved Star Wars. That might be the only thing that saves her legacy if it was her idea to bring John on board.
