Listen, if this was just a case of Manson potentially being a shitty boyfriend by cheating on her and said some mean things to her then that would be one thing. But he is not being accused of being a shitty boyfriend.

The things he is being accused of are actual felonies... the most serious class of criminal offense.

This should be (and hopefully will be) investigated which is what BOTH Evan (and the other women) and Marilyn Manson should want if they truly have the courage of their convictions and are willing to accept the consequences of the end result.

By all accounts he essentially exists in isolation for obvious reasons. I have a few stories about him, nothing impressive but we had the same circle of friends and got fucked up together a few times with lots of other mutual friends. I genuinely believe his bandmates when they say they didn't realise he was up to.

It's like the old joke: A Rattlesnake gets stepped on by a horse, and nearly dies. Do you follow loads of people you had a personal falling out with & “cut all ties with” who supposedly told horrible lies about you in a tell-all book a zillion years ago? Manson quoted the email he got from Trent a few years ago, reconciling. This current disavowing by Trent seems like public relations move to distance himself now that Manson has the #MeToo spotlight on him.
