But the scales of social justice are way off balance now. We're seeing cases like that woman who had an awkward date with Aziz Ansari trying to present herself as some sort of tragic victim.

I said 99% not all. Most of the time its all hearsay and slander through social media designed to destroy someone's career, with accusations so old they can't possibly be reliably proven. The accused is guilty until proven innocent, and they're usually canceled immediately. A bit too arbitrary for my tastes.

Especially knowing the way people hold grudges and will casually lie to get what they want. Just look at what happened to Ghomeshi. Using the popular logic that multiple people couldn't possibly be lying, they were gonna ruin that man's career and put him in prison. Probably would have succeeded if he didn't have old texts and emails showing those bitches were lying.

I'm glad someone brought up the Jian Ghomeshi case. I used to listen to his music interviews on sat radio and then that scandal broke out with his accusers in Canada. All of his private sexual proclivities got aired out in the news, it must have been humiliating.

Finally, the court proceedings revealed the truth: Multiple accusers were lying and colluding against him. Yes, he had fetishes and was into kinky sex. But all those relationships were totally consensual. The "victims" were former lovers trying to destroy him.

It still disgusts me that his accusers faced no real consequences. They ruined Ghomeshi's career and public image, almost got him into criminal trouble. All because of post-fuck regret and bad breakups. His case should be held up as an object lesson why #BelieveHer is dangerous bullshit.

I've been a very big Marilyn Manson fan for the past 25 years, and have seen him in concert 3 times (1999 - Dallas, TX / 2008 - Kansas City, Missouri, and 2012 - Gothenburg, Sweden) I enjoy his music and believe he is very talented.

With that being said in light of recent events, I keep seeing people say "What did she/they expect? It's Marilyn Manson."

If the allegations are true and I believe they most likely are, then I'm fairly positive (as in 100% certain) she expected not to be sexually assaulted and tortured by the guy.

I’m not a MM fan. But you saying He is 100% guilty based on a woman who has given numerous interviews AFTER their breakup stating he was a great guy, peaceful soul, they just didn’t work out, has to hold some water. She has had dating partners come out and say she was crazy, and she has had tons of partners guys and girls.
I do believe MM was a kinky fucked up dude....but this is regret. She wasn’t groomed at 19. That’s silly. Like I said before, if he did rape or abuse her, let him burn...but I’m not using the word of an ex with no proof to ruin his life...she did stay with him, she did get back together with him, she did give interviews praising him, during and after their relationship....show me proof of the abuse. Did you take pictures of the injuries? Save texts, emails, letters of abuse? Did you tell friends, police, parents?

Absolutely disgusting what they tried to do to that guy. And the complete lack of consequences shows other lunatics out there they can go on these crusades to ruin someone's life, knowing nothing will come back on them. The one girl even demanded a public apology and still bashed him and said he raped her after the whole thing was supposed to be dropped. Cost the guy a lot of money and stress and torched his reputation. And even though he proved his innocence as much as you could reasonably expect under those circumstances, absolutely zero consequences for them.

In a just world they would have served time in prison and faced civil suits. But they use this bullshit logic that you can't ever punish people for coming forward, even if they're found lying and colluding, because it might scare actual victims out of coming forward.
