Too early to tell.
It still depends on how well they cover up his lies, and what else comes out.
Also
The teams are going to sit him in front of a psychologist and if the doc says hes ok in the head then it wont affect his stock.
But if in their sessions there are a bunch of red flags then the Jets will draft him in the 1st round.
 
i dont think itll affect much of anything.....see vontaze burfict... red flags everywhere...went undrafted...and is now the starting mlb for the bengals...


te'o will still get drafted even if its the 2nd or 3rd

My question is, how would this affect his career in anway? Who the fuck cares, he's there to play football.

He's coming off of the worst game of his career and then the next news you get is that he may be a pathological liar. Clearly, what has transpired over the past several months will be a topic of conversation in his interviews with NFL GMs.

Unless he has a story that convinces them, they are going to label him as mentally weak and he will slip in the draft. From there, it'll be up to him to prove that it has nothing to do with his ability to playfootball

Not to mention most teams won't want to deal with the absurd circus of having chosen to hire an employee who had a fake-girlfriend-dying-of-cancer story duping the public for months.

Thing is he's not an athletic beast; not that fast, not the perfect size, but his intangibles and leadership ability is off the charts. That's why he's special. He's being drafted in the top 10 because NFL Gms believe that he could LEAD their defense/team similar to Ray Lewis.

Now with this story that changes. You think he could walk into an NFL locker room full of grown men and not have all of them think of him as a joke.Who would beleive anything this guy says? He's either too dumb to know the truth or is making it up.

If he is innocent then he's naive, oblivious, stupid; if he's guilty he's manipulative, scandalous, and a huge liar. None of those adjectives are used to describe leaders.
