Crime Man Set On Fire At Penn Station in NYC

Because for some reason everybody on the right is under the assumption that NYC is some sort of crime ridden shit-hole when it's one of the safest big cities in the nation with the most effective police force.

The last time I visited NYC, a year ago, my maga family members were like "are you sure it's safe?" "aren't you scared," LOL, I pointed out that they all live in areas with 4+ times the crime/murder as NYC.
I don’t have a problem with its safety. It is definitely is worse than before. However, my issue is how fucking dirty the Times Square area is. The subway is fucking atrocious, smells like shit or piss, homeless people sleeping in one side of the subway car and you have regular people packing in tight on the other side since they can’t trust the homeless from not being a fucking nutcase, and they smell like rotten garbage.

Let's look at facts.. the worst neighborhood for violent crime in New York is the Bronx... it's murder rate is still lower than average when compared to the top 100 big cities... and nearly 10 times less than the worse cities in the south.

As for which parts: the poor urban parts

The Bronx has 1.5 million people LOL. That's quite a big "neighborhood"!

Culture matters. America has a horrible culture. Some countries are so peaceful, a hundred pound woman can walk to her car in a dark alley at 2am and feel perfectly at ease. America is bathed in blood.

Whether in the south, north, east or west, the highest murder rates come from poor urban minority communities

Yep, lots of shitbags in this country sad to say

As a lifelong NYC resident, since 2020 there has been a huge surge in violent crime in the subways. Most of it is just people who are completley insane.

it's only gotten worse in my experience.
i visited Manhattan A LOT starting from 2003, and last time i went, summer of 2019, before the whole covid deal, it was the worst i had ever seen it. i used to love walking the streets at midnight, it used to be pretty vibrant and full of people, by 2019 it felt empty at that hour, and the only people in the streets were batshit insane, that scream at you, sometimes follow you. creepy as shit. as a woman no way you can walk alone in Manhattan at night. the subways were just shitholes by the time i last went. ridiculously dirty, dangerous nutters all over, feels like every subway car needs a half dozen Pennys in it. it turned into a place people lock themselves in their houses after sundown. what a terrible waste. i didn't even catch the migrant wave, so it must be a hell of a lot worse now.
