man boobs

YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE! PERIOD. Doing situps will not cut bodyfat from your stomach any more than it will from your arms. Doing pushups will not cut bodyfat from your chest any more than it will from your thighs. you must reduce TOTAL bodyfat to lose your tits, and the only way to do that is through appropriate training (both strength and cardio) and diet.

While you can't spot reduce would there possibly be a regiment of lifting that could fill out some of the non-man titty areas to reduce the effect.

I wonder if you could build up your upper and outer sides of your pecks using specific lifts in such a way that you might be able to smooth out the overall transition as well as pull up on the skin a bit.

benchpress and deadlifts will build muscle, but you still may have the tits. I'd recommend cutting overall body fat by fixing your diet and start running, jumping rope, eliptical, or swimming. It will come as a whole package and trust me you'll feel better as well.

While there is some truth to this (raising total muscle mass will decrease % body fat) I think working on a specific area will have the opposite effect.

For example, people often work abs to reduce fat there in order to gain the elusive "six pack". However, by working that area you are just building up muscle which makes your belly stick out farther.

Similarly, by working the pecs, you'd likely end up making your "man boobs" worse by increasing the total volume of mass in the region without lowering body fat.

This along with the fact that if it were even possible, I'm sure the commitment of time and pain would be equal or more to that of just working out harder and cleaning up your diet.

There aren't any free lunches. I guess I was just hypothesizing for someone who truly had a genetic tendency towards man boob tissue. Who was willing to put the work in.

You need to reduce your total fat percentage. I think total body compound lifts have already been suggested and of course you need to clean up your diet. One tip which I have trouble following because of my deep love of beer is to NOT DRINK YOUR CALORIES! Just by replacing all of your calorie-filled drinks with water you can cut your calories by several hundred per day and thousands per week. Instead of a latte, get black coffee, replace fruit juice with plain water etc...

I also think one of the best things is to do intense intervals. I have an outdoor staircase nearby where I live of about a hundred steps, and I do sprint intervals up the steps then jog down to recover. School bleachers or just a big hill would work just as well. After about ten of those I'm nearly puking but it feels great. Sometimes I throw in a set of ten burpees at the top. It kills me, damn I need to go do that now actually.

that is a big problem of mine too. i love my beer. i have recently started drinking vodka more rather than beer.

i am going to go on a better diet and exercise plan. right now i do not over eat or snack a whole lot , but i need to start keeping a better eye on everything. like i said i'm not in "bad" shape i just wanna be in better. i also smoke witch does not help me.

This might get flamed on, but I thought spot reduction was possible. Hear me out before you start replying.

People that have piss poor diets will store a higher percentage of their fat in the abdominal region from what I've read on forums and magazines. So if you consume a clean diet for awhile that problem area, aka mid-section, would see a greater reduction. Meaning if you have a bad diet and you're at 12% bf your body would store more of it in the ab region for guys. But if you're working out and eating clean and have 12% bf, it would distributed differently on your body. I noticed that when I eat clean I can lose fat around my mid section more so than when I'm not. I know you can say that I'm just consuming less calories because I'm eating clean and that's why I'm leaning up faster. I just feel that I lean up more evenly when I'm eating clean. When I'm still losing weight and not eating well, the gut doesn't have much change until I lose a lot of fat throughout the rest of my body.

I'm not saying that working out your chest is going to reduce the fat in your chest. It will reduce the fat in your body however your body sees fit. I'm just talking about diet. If I remember correctly, it is in reference to diets high in fast digesting carbs.

Whats The Big Fucking Mystery Here?! What Answer Do You Seek? There Is No Tit-be-gone Pill You Can Take, No Easy Way Out. Diet And Excercise Is Your Only Option Unless You Cut Them Off Via Surgery. /thread

Cut your bodyfat as low as possible and if that doesn't work then use aramosin and cabergoline

I'd say a pair of scissors...seriously tho your only chance is to get your body fat down as low as possible since any extra weight is going right to your rack.
