Why do i go to the heavies anymore...
Im right there with ya
Why do i go to the heavies anymore...
This shows what bums Mayweather has made a career against. Can-elo doesn't even move his feet. There are just very few talented athletes that get into boxing anymore. And there will be even less after Floyd gets laid out.
Not even that, since the fights been signed the truth has come out that Conor has never been an amatuer boxer at all, he has zero amatuer boxing matches according to the records.Bullshit. By all accounts he was a very promising boxer. The fact is that boxing is not a meritocracy. There are probably lots of guys that could beat Floyd Mayweather but were never afforded the opportunities in the corrupt system that boxing has devolved into. That's why guys who like to fight go into MMA instead. There's a lot more opportunity for the best to rise to the top.
Conor never was an amatuer boxer, they lied. The records show he has zero amatuer matches in boxing.Except he wasn't. He was noted for being a hard worker and doing what he was told and that was it. He was at least seventeen years old when he last dabbled in boxing and was still competing at a very low level. If he had any real aptitude for boxing, he'd have been showing it around that point.
Nobody with any genuine prospects in boxing choose to go into MMA. These guys are prizefighters and the richest prizes are in boxing.
DC is 5'9DC is 5'11
Jon Jones is 6'4
Canelo is 5'9
Conor is 5'9
Your comparison sucks. Conor looks much smaller than Canelo even in that picture flexing like a manlet.
Aint it unbelieveable bro? The only way to judge height is barefoot, the same shoes, and in the same stance.DC is 5'9
Canelo is 5'7
Check your facts instead of just believing official, exaggerated claims.
Yeah, keep your hands up in a MMA fight when your up against a skilled BJJ fighter who can go for the take down any time in that high pressure situation. There's a lot more that goes into a MMA fight than a boxing fight where you have to protect your head than trying to think of 100 different ways your opponent can knock you out / take you down.Dude
That is legit one of the worst jabs ive ever seen in terms of boxing
He throws it and returns it not to his chin where it is meant to go but to his groin ffs
I appreciate he is tired there but to throw a jab and totally flop your arm down is such low level slop
Lol he brought him in just so he could kick his ass. Would love to see the video.
He was wearing head gear.
No bruises

where did you get this picture from?

Zero chance but tbh that would be amusing to see. I love seeing shit hit the fan. I would even watch a couple of interviews by boxing experts and bask in the backtrack and revisionist history in regards to FloydI know I'm in the minority in thinking this but I have a strange feeling Conor is going to flatline Floyd. And it's going to implode every fucking fight forum on earth.
He's right though and you're not wrong either. The jab is trickier in MMA because of takedowns but there are fighters who utilise it and have adopted it. Ppl like Jorge and GSP have great jabs but they also have great wrestling to back it up. Conor likes to paw with his lead hand, throwing the occasional jab. It's not his style.yea bro using a jab in mma is dumb, conor would never benefit from such a weapon, everything he does is perfect, fuck a jab just paw with you lead hand forever.
i mean who could ever be successful in mma with a good jab
Bullshit. By all accounts he was a very promising boxer. The fact is that boxing is not a meritocracy. There are probably lots of guys that could beat Floyd Mayweather but were never afforded the opportunities in the corrupt system that boxing has devolved into. Our only metric for judging this, our key to solving all the speculation is the Holy Grail of Height (aka this picture):
Floyd is 5'5 and lies about his height as much as most men lie about dick size.
Exactly, Sherbruv! Floyd is an impressive manlet who is about to face a real sized, real fightin', man for the first time in his career. If Floyd is truly 5'5 that makes all his achievements even MORE incredible. So, basically a Featherweight size guy has beaten 150-165lbs beasts like Canelo, Mosley, Cotto, and DLH?
Wow, that is incredible!!! Thx for pointing that out.
That's fucking bullshit.
If you're white and talented, you automatically have a shot at a lucrative career, in a sport that is dominated by black and hispanic fighters.
Boxers on average, through their ability to change promoters and control their endorsement revenue directly are better compensated than MMA fighters.
Ergo, if Conor was any good at Boxing, he would have stuck with it and made millions there.
