I'm not at all opposed to this fight, but really i just want to see Mr Finland get back in there. I still believe he's still a pretty solid prospect. Good to see he's talking about fighting again

Yeah, no. The problem is that he's been exactly the same so far: a pure wrestler with funky chain-submission skills but a lacking positional game. He needs to add more facets to his game before he can even think about competing against guys like Cub.

Also part of the problem is that he hasn't been fully focused on training during his time off, nor has he spent any significant amount of time in Ireland - probably close to 1 month total. It wouldn't be that bad if he had an MMA coach in Finland, but he doesn't have that either. He's bouncing from gym to gym when he does train. Not really a mystery why he has plateaued.
