Regardless of who you think won either fight they should make a third fight because they've been competitive and fun to watch.

After one fight (win) each, I think they should fight for the 125 pound belt.

Good fights to watch but JJ is 2 - 0 against her she needs to work her way back, that's how it goes. I dont think Claudia will ever beat JJ her gassing is always going to be a problem and JJ's hand speed is on another level

Claudia is a blanket wannabe who is more worried about looking muscular than being able to fight for an entire fight.

Glaudia needs to fix that gas tank she ran out of gas early in the third round and was screwed. JJ looks like she could go all day. Just goes to show cardio and energy is so important if you're a fighter. Conor also learned the hard way.

All lost twice to the same fighter. Who really wants to see a third?
It would be different if it were say JDS who is 1-2 against Cain, you could speculate that he could win again but trilogies do no work with two losses and no wins to a fighter.
That stuff simply does not sell.

Third time was the charm for Rampage.
Nelson vs Lewis was a boring fight. Joanna vs Claudia 1 and 2 were epic.
Joanna must not be an elite striker to you because she doesn't often throw big looping shots that have knockout potential.

Joanna proved in that fight that unless claudia pinned her to the cage or mat that she had nothing for joanna. Thing is, is that claudia is strong enough and talented to win enough 3 round fights against lesser comp to earn her way back. So we might see it regardless someday

There has been a pattern in their last two fights and Claudia is going to have to massively change something if she wants to beat JJ. Claudia can nullify JJ for two rounds for sure but in 2 fights in a row Joanna has pulled away from her as the fights went on. No reason to think a third fight wouldn't follow the same pattern.

If she wins a couple of 3 round fights what's that going to tell you? CG needs some cardio before she considers getting back in the cage with JJ and some tactics to win it, taking JJ down and trying to keep her there isn't going to work.
That said a 3rd fight would be fun to watch, I just can't see CG winning it.

It's not going to tell me anything. But I know for sure she is the 2nd best in the division and it will reaffirm it and force UFC's hand. The best thing for her would be for JJ to move to 125 and the belt will be hers.
