Glover is a bad matchup for Adesanya because of his style and now total focus on ground

If Adesanya tried LHW again I could easily see Glover choking him out, Rob had the position but was unsure what to do and not strong enough, Glover would have finished it, he is beyond strong, maybe not even the choke, just a neck crank it would be over

Glover is not that tough guy that used to strike and had good heavy hands, the last few years he has abandoned that for the most part and just goes straight to the ground and focuses on that, thats why he has been beating all these young guys and has a great win streak and is now the champ. He is DEATH on the ground and can tap anyone out.. he would tap many UFC HW's out guaranteed.

Glover would eat some shots but when he got it to the ground he would maul Izzy. LHW grapplers are a terrible matchup for Izzy. He should wait til there's a striker as the champ.

Israel is having trouble finishing Middleweights these days. 1 Take down against glover and Izzy gets rear naked choked with ease. He had his shot at 205 and failed it, time to move on until at the very least you actually have 0 new challengers. Which isn't the case. As he has Cannonier in front of him, and if Strickland can get another good win him as well. Then after that, barring Darren Till surging back up the rankings and producing yet another fresh match up then maybe we can talk. But even then they might rush Perreira into a title shot given their history, and Alex's age. Even then I doubt i'll care to see him move up again.

IMO they should start making these champions fight a top 5 in the weight class up if they want a title shot.
The double champ stuff delays divisions for years and the UFC should concentrate more on getting new talent instead of these "super-fights".

We've seen divisions like bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight, light heavyweight, heavyweight, etc be put in limbo by these double-champ fights.
