Can't see it happening. Magny was calling for the fight back when they were saying no one would fight Khamzat and they ignored him. Not sure if they didn't like the match up or if they wanted Khamzat to fight someone higher ranked but they weren't interested. Sounds like they want to wait for Leon.

Dude is always there, always training, always ready, more or less always close to weight.

I do strongly believe though that UFC are going to push Khamzat vs Edwards to the Co-Main Event slot on UFC 257 on Jan 23rd. UFC will WANT that big fight card publicity for all these guys on that card. It's a McGregor card so for sure it'll have a lot of eyes on it and a lot of PPV buys. Currently there's only 10fights on that card, so there's room for maybe 3 more and it's probable (sadly) that one or more fights might get canceled too due to COVID.

So....yeah I expect that UFC have already told Khamzat and Edwards to MAKE IT to the Jan 23rd card in Abu Dhabi.
