Critical and strategic thinking is the basis for any type of science. Training a kid's mind to think in certain ways in a way that's actually enjoyable is much more effective than just giving them a text book on particle physics, which is boring as shit.

If companies do this of their own accord, what is the issue?
If I want to continue to sell more of my 30 year old nerd game in 2020 and beyond to a diverse group of people, then taking a look at it every few years to make sure I don't have some offensive or out of fashion "Retarded ass goblin", or "Midget tranny Succubus" card in the rotation sounds like a pretty good business move.

I think they bridge together well. I never played magic when I was a kid, but I did play computer RPGs like Baldur's Gate, and that stimulated me liking math. I remember being in like 8th grade and checking a probability theory book out of the library so I could understand what "expectation values" were to help me decide which moves were safest.

Perhaps he got that part right, though perhaps he was simply too unyielding in his perspective, and too impatient for change. Besides, he aligned himself with Communists and Muslims (the latter who killed him): the two most oppressive groups among power-jockeying groups in world history.
