Because if you’re crazy, you can use anything to justify killing people. Why would I critically analyze the ramblings of a mad man? In order for me to make what argument? No argument was made. I made a joke based on how irrational your take was. And you’re now arguing with an imaginary opponent in the shower.Once again this is just outright refusal to grapple with critical analysis of viewpoints. And in order to make your argument you need to make a blatant false equivalency that wasnt contended. There can definitely be lunatics from any political walk, and when one commits a heinous crime like this, there should be some introspection as to what that means for the viewpoints.
This is one aspect of what it looks like when a guy is willing to give his live for these beliefs, or at the very least blame the world for his own shortcomings. But hey, the positive news is at least he wasnt willing to give himself to the State. So there's some Silver lining. Trump is in charge and he didnt just automatically trust them Cops.
And despite the existence of discourse, leftists are ALWAYS having to re-evaluate our perspectives in this manner because conservatives are constantly demanding we do. But look who gets booty hurt at the mere suggestion there might be monolithic thought or behavior on their side. The side that is currently demanding everyone live by their principals and legislating that people cannot be themselves.
People from both sides do it. But here’s the thing, I’m not over here trying to keep the score on others and one up people because my brain doesn’t operate like that. I’m not a minion.
I really don’t care if conservatives in the past have bullied you into changing your opinion. I don’t represent them. I represent myself. And I’m pretty consistent across the board on this. Islam as a whole doesn’t have to rewrite its doctrine or the Quran because of Jihadists, etc. Christians don’t have to rewrite the Bible because of this individual. People shouldn’t have to base what they believe in on those kinds of possibilities. That’s called being soft. Do you actually believe what you say, or do you think that because it stirs up the least commotion and offends people the least?
